Mrs. Tourtelot, 64, of Lakewood, Colo., and formerly Monmouth County, died April 25, 2009, at home following a battle with multiple sclerosis. She was a sixth-grade teacher for the Fair Haven School District. Mrs. Tourtelot is survived by her husband, Joe Tourtelot; a son, Joseph “Shane” Tourtelot of Santa Monica, Calif.; and three sisters, Theresa Marswillo of Little Silver, JoAnn Crawford of Fair Haven, and Debbie Miller of Sandy Spring, Md.
