Prevention First, Ocean Township, and the Shore Institute of the Contemporary Arts (SICA), 20 Third Ave., Long Branch, will host the second annual Art of Prevention 7-10 p.m. June 18 at SICA.
The event is an exhibit and auction of artwork created by local students and was created to stress the importance that participating in hobbies such as art can make in a child’s life. Artwork includes works by students who take part in the after-school program Project Vision run by Prevention First at Asbury Park Middle School. Featured will be music, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
