The Milltown Department of Recreation will sponsor a variety of upcoming events and programs open to residents and nonresidents.
A Father’s Day fishing trip is planned for June 14 aboard the Miss Michele III, leaving out of Point Pleasant Beach. The bus will depart at 1:30 p.m. from Borough Hall. Cost is $65 per person. Reservation deadline is May 29.
A Children’s Cooking Class, open to youngsters ages 8-12, is set for June 1, 8, 15 and 22 at the Milltown Senior Center, Violet Terrace. Registration is required. Fee is $38 per child.
The recreation department is offering a summer tennis clinic. Interested individuals may choose from four available sessions in June, July and August. Cost is $135 for each two-week session.
Milltown School-Age Child Care (SACC), full-day child care for youngsters in prekindergarten-eighth grade, is set for June 29-Sept. 4. Registration packets are available at Borough Hall.
