Young Adult Charity troupe to hold tryouts

Auditions for the East Brunswick Young Adult Charity Players (EBYACP) annual show to raise money for the Daisy Association are set for 7-9 p.m. June 2 at the Daisy Recreation Building, Bicentennial Park, Riva Avenue and Hardenburg Lane, East Brunswick, and 7-9 p.m. June 3 in the cafetorium at Churchill School, 18 Norton Road, East Brunswick. Callbacks are planned for 7-9 p.m. June 4 at the East Brunswick Senior Center, Jean Walling Civic Center.

EBYACP is a nonprofit organization created to provide entertaining theatrical productions to raise money for the Daisy Association and other philanthropies in East Brunswick.

Auditioners should come prepared with either a Broadway song or an upbeat pop song on CD. Tryouts are held to evaluate the talent of cast members, who must be at least 13 years old. All who audition will be in the show.

The show will be presented with the aid of the East Brunswick Division of Recreation.

All proceeds will go to the Daisy Association. Over the past seven years, EBYACP has raised more than $30,000 for the Daisy panel.
