SCORE Chapter 14 of the Central NJ Recognized for Increased Online Counseling

Raritan, NJ – June 30, 2009 – the NJ district office of SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business” recognized SCORE Chapter 14 of the Central New Jersey for increased online counseling compared to last year. The recognition reflects increased efforts of the Chapter 14 to increase the support and responsiveness to the small business community nationally.
SCORE Chapter 14, with over 30 experienced professionals working as volunteers offers online counseling efforts to the entire country and covers a wide range of business topics. The Chapter also offers  free face-to-face mentoring and low-cost workshops for clients from Somerset, Hunterdon, Middlesex, and portions of Union Counties.
“We are honored to receive recognition from the NJ district director of SCORE, Claude Hagelberg,” says Chapter Chair Marcia Feinsod. “As more small businesses start to leverage their every aspect of their operations off the Internet, we wanted to become more available as an online resource to address their business needs. Online counseling is increasingly gaining importance in addition to our more traditional counseling services.”
Since 1964, SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business” has assisted more than 8 million aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners through counseling and business workshops. More than 11,200 volunteer business counselors in 370 chapters serve their communities through entrepreneurial education dedicated to the formation, growth and success of small businesses.
