The Tri-State Budgerigar Society will sponsor its 19th annual Budgerigar/Parakeet Show from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 18 at Knights of Columbus Hall, 83 E. Lincoln Ave., Monroe. Registration will close at 10 a.m. Judging will follow.
The event, which is sanctioned by the Budgerigar Association of America, will feature champion, intermediate, novice, junior and endangered-mutation divisions for owner-bred and banded birds, with best-in-show selection. There will be two open pet divisions. Dave Collier will serve as judge.
Admission is free of charge; however, there will be a $2 entry fee per bird. All are welcome to attend.
The club holds monthly meetings at 2 p.m. on Sundays at various locations in central New Jersey.
