EDISON — Although he lost the Democratic mayoral primary last month, current Mayor Jun Choi may still have won the ultimate prize.
Choi married his longtime sweetheart, Lisa Lee, on June 23. Choi and Lee were introduced by friends about a year ago and became engaged not too long afterward.
Lee grew up in Syosset, N.Y., on Long Island and is currently residing in London. She is employed by Bank of America Merrill Lynch in England.
On the township’s website, it states that Choi is looking “forward to starting their family in Edison.”
Choi, 37, lost to Antonia Ricigliano in a very heated primary. It is not known what Choi will do professionally when his term is finished at the end of this year.
