The Temple Emanu-El in Edison has announced the following July events:
• July 10, 7 p.m., Shabbat Alive! New cantor Jacquie Schuchat-Marx will be present to add to the music and the service;
• July 17, 6 p.m., Tot Shabbat. Bring the little ones to a fun service where they will march and play with peers and friends. Children will enjoy the festive activities, including arts and crafts;
• July 24, 7 p.m., Shabbat Under the Stars. An outdoor greeting to the Sabbath with music and song. Prospective members are welcome. An ice cream social will follow.
