Superintendent of Schools Johanna Ruberto urges new families in Manville to register their children for school as soon as possible.
Interested families can register their children in person at the main office of the specific school in which they plan to enroll.
Children who will be in kindergarten (children 5 years old by Oct. 1) through third grade can register at Weston School call the school at 231-8548 for details as to what is needed to register and to set up a time. The school secretary and Principal Don Frank both work during the summer and can handle the registration process with the parent.
On select nights throughout the summer, the Manville schools will open so that prospective students can see the building before classes start in the fall.
School officials will host more formal community open houses for all the Manville schools in September.
