The Metuchen Recreation Commission in conjunction with the Metuchen Cultural Arts Commission will sponsor a “Summer Concert Series Under the Stars” beginning Aug. 6 with Blue Number Nine. On Aug. 13 the performance will be by Blue Roux; on Aug. 20, the James Street Band; and on Aug. 27, The Kootz.
All concerts will begin at 8 p.m. in the Metuchen Senior Citizen Center parking lot, Center Street, Metuchen. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and dinner.
