Mrs. Lubanski, 78, of East Brunswick, formerly of Spotswood, died Aug. 4, 2009, in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1992, she was the deli manager at Acme, East Brunswick, where she worked for 19 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Basil Lubanski; a son, Jay Lubanski; a brother, Lionel Holborow; and two sisters, Thelma Davis and Greta Brown. Surviving are three sons, John, and his wife, Diane, of Spotswood, Jeff of Stroudsburg, Pa., and Joseph, and his wife, Denise, of the Waretown section of Ocean Township; a daughter, Jane Kane, and her husband, Randy, of Palisades Park; two brothers, Trevor Holborow of England and Charles Robert Holborow of East Brunswick; a daughter-in-law, Mary Lubanski of Lagrangeville, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Services were private.
