As the holidays are approaching, the Department of Recreation and Human Services is once again requesting donations of new toys to be given to the less fortunate children of Long Branch at our annual Christmas party, Wednesday, Dec. 16.
As a result of the generosity of individuals and organizations, our department has been able to distribute presents and treats to deserving and needy youth for the past nine years. We hope to continue that tradition of helping children in need again this year with your help. The Long Branch Recreation Department is a not-for-profit organization, and your donations can be used as a tax deduction. Our tax identification number is 21- 6000803.
We will accept donations of new toys, books and stuffed animals for children ages newborn to 10 years old. Donations are currently being accepted a the Long Branch Department of Recreation, 3 Bay Ave., Long Branch, or by calling 732-571-6545 for further information.
