‘Shorelines’

Anthony Migliaccio’s “Shorelines,” an exhibition of his most recent oil paintings, is at The Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury.

Pier Village" Pier Village” In addition to his many large studio pieces, Migliaccio’s plein air paintings, done on location, depict favorite local destinations such as the Highlands Bridge and Hartshorne Woods, as well as sea and landscapes, which he renders with luminous beauty.

“Shorelines” will run through Aug. 26 at The Guild, which is located at 620 Broad St. Hours are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, Thursday until 7 p.m. and 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

A Long Branch resident, Migliaccio has exhibited extensively on the state and national levels and his works have been exhibited at prestigious venues in New York and New Jersey.

He is an associate member of the Oil Painters of America, an exhibiting arts member of the Audubon Artists, an exhibiting member of the Guild of Creative Art, a member of the Plein Air Painters of the Jersey Coast, and a member of the Art Alliance, Red Bank.

"Old Bridge" “Old Bridge” Prior to his professional art career, he was an art educator and arts administrator in NJ public schools and taught as an adjunct professor at Monmouth University. From 1998 to 2008, he was the Director of the Visual and Performing Arts program at Red Bank Regional High School in Little Silver.
