Newcomers Club Begins 50th Year
August 11, 2009, Princeton, NJ—Princeton Area Newcomers Club is celebrating its 50th year helping people settle into their communities and make lasting friendships. Whether you have moved across the street or across an ocean, have just arrived or have lived here a while, we invite you to join us and “Bloom Where You are Planted!”
Upcoming events include:
Social Coffee—Thursday, August 20, 9:30 am to 11 am, Bramwell House at the Princeton YWCA, 59 Paul Robeson Place. Enjoy an informal get-together with new and established neighbors. Refreshments are served. Social Coffee meets the third Thursday of the month through June.
Friday with Friends—Friday, September 11, 11:45 am to 2 pm, Princeton YWCA All-Purpose Room. Attend the annual Interest Groups Showcase to learn about the many fun activities Newcomers Club offers. Light lunch is available for a nominal fee. Friday with Friends meets most second Fridays of the month with a variety of scheduled programs and speakers.
Guests are welcome to attend a Social Coffee, a Friday with Friends, and an Interest Group activity before deciding to join Newcomers.
