Peddie School Aquatics Association swimmers participated in the long course meters during the New Jersey Junior Olympics at Rutgers University in New Brunswick July 30-Aug. 2.
Delaney Bader, 14, swam the 100-meter and 200-meter butterfly; the 50-meter, 100-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter, 800-meter, and 1,500-meter freestyle; and the 200-meter individual medley.
Jillian Galindo, 12, swam the 400-meter individual medley and the 200-meter medley relay.
Jennifer Kay, 12, swam the 100-meter, 200-meter, 400- meter, and 800-meter freestyle; the 100-meter and 200- meter backstroke; the 400-meter individual medley; the 200-meter free relay; and the 200-meter medley relay.
Maxwell Cummings, 12, swam the 50-meter, 100-meter, and 200-meter freestyle; the 50-meter, 100-meter, and 200- meter breaststroke; the 100-meter and the 200-meter backstroke; and the 400-meter individual medley.
Matthew Gold, 9, swam the 50-meter and the 100-meter butterfly; and the 200-meter free relay.
The Marlboro Renegades, a 13U travel baseball team playing in the Central Jersey area, is seeking quality pitchers. Tryouts will be held every weekend. Players must be born after April 30, 1995. Mustang Youth Football is holding registration for its tackle and flag football programs. Tackle football is open to youngsters entering first or second grade. All equipment, except for protective cups and cleats, will be provided. The fee is $195 per player, with a $425 family maximum. NFL flag football is open to children in prekindergarten through kindergarten and is played Wednesdays or Saturdays. The cost is $75. Registration is open to children from all towns. There are no weight limits. Each child gets to keep a new jersey. Home games will be played at Marlboro High School, with a possible night game at St. John Vianney High School, Holmdel.
