Mr. Pallone, 83, of Long Branch, died Aug. 30, 2009, at the Health South Rehabilitation Center, Tinton Falls. He and his brother coowned F&J Motors, Long Branch. He was also a mutuel clerk at Monmouth Park Racetrack, Oceanport. He was an exempt member of the Atlantic Engine Company of Long Branch Fire Department, life member of the Long Branch First Aid Squad, and committeeman for the Long Branch Democratic Party for several years. He was predeceased by a brother, Carmine Pallone. He is survived by a brother, Frank J. Pallone Sr.; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Gerard Viracola of Shrewsbury; two nephews, Congressman Frank Pallone Jr. and his wife Sarah, and John and Svetlana Pallone; a niece, Mary and her husband Michael Dekker; and several great nieces and great nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Interment followed at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
