Several hundred cyclists competed in the Tour de Fair Haven bicycle race over a 4.5-mile course Sept. 20. The race was sanctioned by USA Cycling and consisted of four races on a closed course through the Borough of Fair Haven along the Navesink River. The five categories of competition ranged from entry level for weekend warriors to the elite level. The meet benefited the Joan Dancy & PALS Foundation, which is dedicated to improving quality of life for ALS patients in the community.
