Solar energy seminars scheduled

New Jersey homeowners have access to the best state incentive programs in the country for residential solar systems.

Between the federal stimulus refunds, state rebates and the Solar Renewable Energy Certificate (SREC)s, homeowners in the Garden State can go solar with numerous incentives that will pay for the system, according to 4BestSolar, a full service solar system specialist and installation company in Robbinsville.

4BestSolar has scheduled a series of informational seminars that can help residents interested in solar systems to navigate through government programs for the best return on investment (ROI). Solar ROI seminars explain how solar systems can increase home value without raising property taxes, earn a no cap federal tax refund of 30 percent, provide up to $17,500 in rebate from New Jersey State, make a utility meter run backward and generate income.

4BestSolar is committed to educating the New Jersey homeowners about the incentives available and to make certain they receive all of the benefits of owning a solar system. At the same time, the company wants to educate residents about all of the elements of a solar system and alternatives for installation and financing.

The free Solar ROI seminars will take place at the following locations and times: The Lofts Clubhouse at Washington Town Center, Robbinsville, 7-9 p.m., Oct. 7; The West Windsor branch of the Mercer County Library, West Windsor, 7-9 p.m., Oct. 15; and The Lofts Clubhouse at Washington Town Center, 6-8 p.m., Nov. 19.
