Ihave lived and voted in Jackson for over 20 years. It seems no candidates have ever been totally free from political party connections even though residents voted that Jackson’s elections be nonpartisan.
If Jackson residents would truly like to vote for someone with no debts to political parties, no quid pro quo, no nepotism and no cronyism, then the clear choice for mayor is John Gaskill.
He has served on township boards and has an excellent knowledge of how the township could be run more economically and in a more environmentally friendly manner.
Please vote for John Gaskill for mayor on Nov. 3.
