Mr. Flannery, 57, of Neptune, died Oct. 13, 2009, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He resided in Long Branch and California prior to relocating to New Jersey in 1990. Mr. Flannery was a retired weighmaster at Stavola Construction, Tinton Falls. He is survived by his wife, Linda Flannery; two daughters, Jessica Sewell and Veronica Miller of California; four stepchildren, Mario Smeriglio Jr. of Neptune, Tisha Cox of Point Pleasant and Jason Sewell and Jenifer Alverez, both of California; a twin sister, Sue McElory of Manahawkin; a brother, Ron Flannery of Oceanport; and 13 grandchildren. Arrangements were by Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
