The Monroe Wolverines Pee Wee team beat Franklin Township 27-7 on Oct. 25 to advance to the Pop Warner Divisional Championship game. The Wolverines will face Millstone in the game, to be played Nov. 1 in North Brunswick. The winner of that game will advance to the Pop Warner Regional Tournament.
The Immaculate Conception Youth Organization (ICYO), Spotswood, has established a partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). PCA, a Stanford University-based nonprofit organization, works with coaches, organizational leaders and parents to more effectively teach young athletes not only how to win, but also how to learn about teamwork, discipline, respect and goal-setting through their sports experience.
