PRINCETON: Rough night in football playoffs

PHS, North and South all fall

It was a tough night for the Packet-area football teams in the playoffson Friday.
Not only was the weather bad, but the results weren’t very good either.
In Central Jersey Group III, West Windsor-Plainsboro North dropped a 43-6 decision at Middletown South. The Knights were the the ony one of the three local teams to score, when Drew Kenavan hauled in a touchdown pass from Ryan Phelan. The Knights finished the season 6-4.
Also in CJ III, Princeton dropped a 42-0 decicion at Monroe Trevor Barsamian rushed for 112 yards for the Little Tigers, who finished the year 7-3.
In CJ IV, WW-P South dropped a 27-0 decision at East Brunswick. The Pirates finished the season with a 5-5 record.
Montgomery’s game was postponed on Friday night and rescheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. at Howell.
