Manville- Manville High School’s yearbook, The Valorem, has many copies of past issues for immediate sale. Mr. Green, a third year English as a Second Language teacher and the co-advisor of the yearbook, was cleaning out the storage room and came upon many previous years’ issues of yearbooks.
“I was cleaning and found several unopened boxes of Valorems from numerous years,” Green said. “The yearbook is working hard to make break even on costs this year and will sell all of these books at bargain prices to help out the student run club. Call the school today and pick one up tomorrow.”
Many local residents lost their yearbooks and many other irreplaceable possessions in the flood of 1997. The yearbook club is happy to try to replace those lost Valorems for only $49.95. It would make a wonderful Christmas present. The following years are available: 1981, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.
