HOWELL — AARP’s 55-Alive Driver Safety Program, an eight-hour refresher course for those 50 years of age and older, will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 15 and Jan. 22 at the Howell Senior Citizens Center in the Howell municipal complex. Upon completion of the course, insurance companies must give a 5 percent discount, and two points will be removed from a New Jersey driving record. The fee is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-AARP members and includes all materials. Register now through Jan. 11 in person or by mail with a check made out to AARP.
