All Seasons Chamber Players concert Jan. 29

The All Seasons Chamber Players return to perform 8 p.m., Jan. 29 at the Barron Arts Center, 582 Rahway Ave., Woodbridge.

The ensemble will use its two-manual Flemish harpsichord in combination with flute and strings. The program will include music from countries in the musical vanguard of the Baroque era, such as Italy, France and Germany. Robert Lawrence, director of programs, will personally introduce each piece to the audience.

All Seasons performers are professional musicians who also perform with major area orchestras, Broadway shows and summer music festivals. They include New York City residents flutist Brenda Sakofsky, violinist Robert Lawrence, cellist E. Zoe Hassman; and harpsichordists Jean Strickholm, Demarest, and Ron Levy, Teaneck.

There will be collection bins for nonperishable food donations for the Mayor’s Food Pantry, and items for Woodbridge Animal Shelter and Angel PAWS, a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to relieving the suffering of and finding permanent homes for stray, abandoned and homeless animals. Items needed include cat and dog food (wet and premium dry), kitty litter, paper towels, paper plates, cleaning supplies (bleach, soap), towels, animal beds, toys, bathroom throw rugs, plastic garbage bags, grooming items (Q-tips, cotton balls), and office supplies (paper, pens, etc.).
