Sayreville Pet Adoption Center would like to thank the Parlin post office for partnering with us this holiday season by allowing us to set up an Angel Tree in its lobby.
The tree was decorated with colorful tags, each bearing a wish list of items needed to care for the many cats and dogs at our shelter. Patrons simply took a tag from the tree, purchased the requested item(s) and brought the contributions to the shelter.
To say that the community response was tremendous would be an understatement. We were totally overwhelmed by the amazing amount of cat and dog food, bleach, paper towels, gift cards and supplies we received. In addition, we made many wonderful new friends who had never visited the shelter before, which means the world to us.
