On Wednesday, Feb. 3rd, returning champs, Marshall Academy, will face Princeton Day School in the Mercer County Final of the Vincent J. Apruzzese 2009-2010 High School Mock Trial Competition . The competition is sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation in cooperation with the Mercer County Bar Association.
On Saturday, Jan. 30th, twelve Mercer County high schools competed in the first two rounds of competition. By the third round, all but four teams had been eliminated. Marshall and PDS each won their 3rd trial, earning the right to compete against each other in a re-match of last year’s final.
The winner of the Mercer County competition will go on to compete against other central NJ county champions in the regional competition, to be held Feb. 10th. in New Brunswick.
