Save the Date: Giant Book Sale, Benefiting West Windsor Library
Thousands of books will be available for purchase at the Friends of the West Windsor Library 2010 Annual Book Sale. Opening night is on Tuesday, March 2, 6 to 9 pm. Admission charge for Opening Night only (for non WW FOL 2010 members) is $10 per person or $25 for up to 4 immediate family members. Membership is available at the door.
The sale runs through the week: Wednesday and Thursday, March 3 and 4 from 10 am until 9 pm and Friday and Saturday, March 5 and 6 from 10 am until 5 pm. On Saturday, March 6, Minikin the Clown will be entertaining and face painting from 10:30 am until 12 pm. Sunday, March 7 Box/Bag Day 12:30 – 4:00 pm. $2.00/grocery bag and $4.00/box. Most books are $.50 and a dollar. AV and computer items are also available. All proceeds benefit the WW Library.
The Friends of the West Windsor Library have been collecting hardbacks paperbacks, cookbooks, children’s books, fiction, non-fiction, text books, reference materials, CDs, DVDs and videos. Prior sales revenues were spent on additions to the Library’s collections, purchase of equipment, room improvements, and the sponsorship of popular community events, including all children’s programming. The event is chaired by Sylvia Russo and Pat Huie and assisted by many volunteers who aid in the sorting and selling of the materials.
