Mr. Ritota, 88, of Toms River, died Jan. 18, 2010, at Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Toms River. He was a salesman and manager of the Caldwell Men’s Shop, Caldwell, until his retirement. Mr. Ritota also served as commissioner for the Orange Housing Authority. He was predeceased by two brothers, Dante and Michael, and two sisters, Josie and Gertrude. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanette Ritota; a son, Russell Ritota of Madison; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Rudy Aquino of Howell; and four grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was private.
