Mr. Cecere, 75, of Jackson and formerly Colts Neck, died Jan. 17, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was a civil engineer for CMX, Manalapan, until his retirement in 2009. Mr. Cecere was the former co-owner of Donald Alworth Contracting Co., West Caldwell. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Helen Patricia Cecere; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Robert A. and Denise Cecere Jr. of Rumson, John Cecere of Jackson, and Craig and Vicki Cecere of Perkasie, Pa.; a daughter, Helen E. Cecere of Hunterdon; five grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond Cecere of Patterson. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was private.
