Adrian James Giglio

Mr. Giglio, 72, of Jackson, formerly of Manalapan, died Feb. 26, 2010, at Memorial Sloan- Kettering Hospital, New York City. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he joined the Air Force National Guard and was stationed at Brooklyn’s Floyd Bennett Field. After graduating from college, he worked as a construction engineer for the City of New York, Shell Oil, Hess Oil, Hana Car Wash and Midas. Although retired from his Midas Muffler Shop in Lawrenceville, which he had owned since 1977, he was still active with his other Midas Shop in Vineland. A daughter, Adrienne Kehoe, predeceased him in 2009. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Amelia “Molly”; a daughter and son-in-law, Teri Ann and Hal Shaw; a son-in-law, Robert Kehoe; a brother, Leonard Giglio; and four grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Jackson, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum, Marlboro. Arrangements were by the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
