Fair Haven is gearing up to host the borough’s first annual townwide sale on May 15, with more than 100 residential yard sales and 50-plus local businesses having sidewalk sales at the same time.
Shoppers will discover thousands of treasures in Fair Haven — books, furniture, collectibles, tools, clothes, toys, knickknacks, gems and more.
An easy-to-follow map listing all the sale locations in town will be available. Plus, each yard sale and each sidewalk sale location will be marked and visible; look for bright orange balloons.
According to organizers, the townwide event will build community, provide a way to raise extra funds, and promote reuse and recycling.
Sales hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The townwide yard sale will take place May 15, and the sidewalk sale will be held May 14 and 15.
Rain dates are one week later, May 21 and 22.
