The annual Spotswood 5K and Fun Run is set for May 8 beginning at Spotswood High School, 105 Summerhill Road. The 1-mile Fun Run will start at 8:30 a.m. The 5K race will go off at 9 a.m.
Registration fee will be $20 for youngsters ages 12 and under, $25 for individuals ages 13. T-shirts will go to all runners. Refreshments and prizes will be given out after the race. The course, which runs through the historic town of Spotswood, is basically flat with little incline.
The event is sponsored by the Spotswood Recreation Department.
