Mrs. Moore, 86, of The Villages, Howell, died April 23, 2010, at home. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had lived in Staten Island, N.Y., and Freehold before moving to The Villages in 1996. Before becoming a homemaker, Mrs. Moore worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale, where she coordinated and ran the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine program for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; a brother, Thomas Burke; and two sisters, Grace and Marion. Surviving are a son, Michael G. Moore, and his wife, Jacqueline, of Jackson; a daughter, Teresa A. Moore, and her husband, Brian Shirley, of Roselle; a sister, Ethel Arnold, of Newport News, Va.; a sister-in-law, Mary Burke, of Staten Island; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church, followed by interment at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church. Arrangements were by the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
