SOUTH BRUNSWICK: Water main break buckles roadway

Donner Court in Monmouth Junction was closed Monday after it buckled following a water-main break.
Police were called to Donner Court at 6 p.m. and found a large volume of water streaming from underneath the roadway. Police said a large water-main break had occurred.
The South Brunswick Public Works Department responded and made emergency repairs to stop the water flow.
Residents of Donner Court were forced to move their cars onto Norton Road. The force of the water buckled the roadway, police said, and it was deemed unsafe. There were no injuries reported.
