The Jackson Sons of AmVets Post 2 will host its third annual golf benefit June 18 at the Gamblers Ridge Golf Club in the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold. The event will be an 18-hole scramble tournament with a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. The donation is $100 per golfer. Sponsorships are available for $50. A buffet dinner and awards will follow at the AmVets Post 2 on Toms River Road, Jackson. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society and the Jackson PBA Bulletproof Vest Foundation.
