Freehold Soil Conservation District (SCD) is looking for photographers to capture subjects promoting the beauty and uniqueness of the natural environments found in Middlesex and Monmouth counties. Wildlife, landscapes, natural resources, agriculture, waterscapes, and conservation practices are all suitable subjects.
The photo contest prizes are $200 for first place, $100 for second place and $75 for third place. The contest rules are as follows:
• Photos should depict the natural beauty of the environment, agriculture, wildlife, landscapes or waterscapes unique to our area; photos must be taken in Middlesex or Monmouth County. Photo location, landmark, town or address should be included with entry;
• Contest is open to anyone age 18 or over as of Sept. 30;
• Photo sizes are 8 inches by 10 inches or 8 inches by 12 inches (color or black and white); photos must be received at Freehold SCD by Sept. 30.
