Mr. West, 63, of Jackson, died May 5, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Jersey City and had lived in Middletown before moving to Jackson 26 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served as a military policeman in Vietnam. Mr. West was a senior investigator for Internal Affairs at the New Jersey state prison in Trenton for 25 years, retiring 11 years ago. He was predeceased by a brother, Jackie West, who was killed in Vietnam; and a sister, Pam Panagioutou. Surviving are his wife, Arlene; three sons, Joseph Andrulonis Jr. of Miami, Fla., John West of Sparta, and James R. West Jr. of Bloomingdale; a daughter, Dani-Lynn Damasco of Manchester; a sister, Shelley Assenheimer of Lodi; and seven grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of East Hanover, Burlington County.
