Mr. Bismarck, 68, of Farmingdale, died May 3, 2010, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He served with the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. Mr. Bismarck was a mechanic for 37 years at Shrewsbury Motors, Shrewsbury. In retirement, he worked at Fort Monmouth. Surviving are his wife, Anneliese Bismarck of Farmingdale; a daughter, Claudia, and her husband, Joseph Millar, of Pitman; two sons, Robert Bismarck and his wife, Shannon, of Clayton, N.Y., and Thomas Bismarck and his wife, Jennifer, of Toms River; three brothers, Horst Bismarck of Mineral Springs, Va., Wilhelm Bismarck of Freehold Township, and Frederick Bismarck of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Ilse Lafferty of Ashville, N.C.; and seven grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
