Mrs. Bruno, 68, of Aberdeen and formerly of Colts Neck, died May 28, 2010, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She trained at Jersey City University Medical Center and received her Registered Nurse and Respiratory Therapist certifications. Mrs. Bruno was a self-taught artist and the proprietor and co-owner of the Cottage Shoppe in Colts Neck. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Nicholas Bruno; her children, Nicholas A. Bruno of Ashburn, Va., Brookes A. Bruno of Columbia, Md., and Dean J. Bruno and his wife, Robin, of Howell; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Joan Leenig of Ridgewood and Lorraine Leenig of Wall. Religious services were held at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hazlet.
