Artist D.J. Haslett will give a presentation on found-object art titled “Assemblage, Three Dimensional Ideas” at the Aug. 20 Allentown Art Guild meeting.
Haslett will give a brief background on found-object artists Kurt Schwitters, Louise Nevelson and Joseph Cornell, along with discussing his inspiration and process for creating his own pieces, some of which will be on display.
