The Master Gardeners of Monmouth County and its Children’s Committee will host the third annual “Bugs, Birds and Beyond” children’s festival 1-4 p.m. Sept. 11 in the parking lot behind the Monmouth County Agriculture Building, 4000 Kozloski Road, Freehold Township.
Activities will include garden tours, games, crafts, vendors, a scavenger hunt, a giant soil tunnel that can be walked through, a composting site, a free raffle, and live animals. A live performance of the “Metamorphosis of the Monarch Butterfly” will also be performed. For more information, call 732-303-7614.
