OCEANPORT — Maj. Gen. Randolph P. Strong, commander of the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) at Fort Monmouth, will host the casing of the CECOM flag in a formal ceremony on Friday, Sept. 10, at 10:30 a.m. on Greely Field.
The ceremony marks the official transfer of CECOM from Fort Monmouth to Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., and will be attended by several past CECOM commanding generals and senior leaders.
The ceremony to uncase the flag will be held at Aberdeen Proving Ground on Oct. 22.
