The annual Ocean County Decoy and Gunning Show sponsored by the Ocean County Board of Freeholders and the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will be held Sept. 25-26.
More than 50 seminars, demonstrations and contests will be offered as well as 200 exhibitors displaying and selling items such as gunning decoys, decorative carvings, wildlife prints and photos, wildlife-themed crafts, outdoor clothing, hunting and fishing supplies, antiques and much more.
Many environmental and sportsman’s clubs will have educational exhibits, displays and information.
Guests can try their hand at skeet shooting or watch puppy and adult retrieving dogs perform. Scenic boat rides will be offered on the Tuckerton Creek.
Exhibition shooter Tim Bradley of Benelli USA will perform both days at Tip Seaman County Park, Tuckerton. There will also be live music featuring Jim Murphy and the Pine Barons.
Admission is free to the 28th annual Ocean County Decoy and Gunning Show. Free shuttle buses will be provided between locations, including off-site parking at Pinelands Regional High School, Little Egg Harbor Township, and Freedom Fields County Park, 874 Route 539, Little Egg Harbor Township.
