The Millstone Township Foundation for Educational Excellence (MTFEE) will hold its next monthly meeting 9:30 a.m. Oct. 14 at the Board of Education conference room, 5 Dawson Court. Topics to be discussed include upcoming grants and fundraising efforts.
Millstone Township residents who might be interested in donating their time, talent or connections to continue the foundation’s mission of providing innovative enrichment programs to its public schools are encouraged to attend.
MTFEE is a nonprofit organization devoted to funding educational experiences for Millstone’s public school students.
To date, the foundation has awarded more than $390,000 in grants for innovative classroom programs, educational opportunities, staff development, and state-of-the-art teaching materials that are beyond the scope of the general school budget. Grants have been awarded at every grade level and in every discipline.
