Giants, 49ers post victories in HEWYBL Sophomore Division

The Giants beat the Ravens, 30-24, in HEWBYL Football Sophomore Division play. The Giants were led on offense by Jesse Teller, who passed for 340 yards and two touchdowns, and Major Wilbur (125 yards rushing). Defensively, Daniel Jordan and Kyle Reiss paced the Giants.
The Ravens got 498 passing yards and two touchdowns from Sean McAleer, while Gavin Brown rushed for 225 yards. Defensively, Isaiah Scott and Daniel Sasson had 3 interceptions apiece.
The 49ers defeated the Ravens, 18- 12, as Jacob Descoteau threw for 312 yards and 2 touchdowns and Anthony Stevens rushed for 145 yards. Kshawn Schulters had an interception return for a touchdown and Suraj Mukkamala made numerous stops.
The Ravens’ Drew Borek passed for 250 yards and 2 TDs while Rezon Alford rushed for 325 yards. Troy Curran and Giovanni Soto led the defense. FRESHMAN
The Cowboys took a 21-7 win over the Ravens as Ethan Altero passed for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns and Timothy Davis ran for 150 yards. The cowboys were led on defense by Tyler Koerner and Conner Kovarik.
The Ravens’ Cooper Zullo passed for 310 yrds and a TD and Max Stefanchik rushed for 140 yards. Justin Ford had two interceptions and Julio Pineda made some great stops.
The Ravens beat the Cowboys, 42-35, as Kelly McAleer ran for 525 yards and five touchdowns, while Ryan Guy passed for 300 yards and a TD. The Ravens were led defensively by Evan Cepeda and David Disanzo.
The Cowboys’ Michael Kotofsky threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns, while Matthew Schamper rushed for 225 yards and 2 TDs. Defensively, Daniel Wershing and Max Peterson made numerous nice plays.
