In honor of Caregivers Month, The Arc of Monmouth will host a Lunch & Learn series from noon to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 3, 10 and 17 at The Arc of Monmouth, 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls. Families of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are invited to attend, enjoy a light lunch and hear the experts address issues that will impact them and their family member. There is no fee, but registration is required. Series topics are:
• The 10 Steps Families Need to Know to Create a Financial Strategy, Nov. 3, presented by Special Needs & Beyond.
• What’s New in Self-Directed Services at The Arc of Monmouth, Nov. 10, presented by The Arc of Monmouth staff and served individuals.
• Using Social Scripts to Read and Understand Social Situations, Nov. 17, presented by Kristen Creed, M.A., L.P.C., director of health services at The Arc of Monmouth.
