Mrs. Romeo, 86, of Peoria, Ariz., died Oct. 26, 2010, at Hospice of the Valley, Sun City, Ariz. She was born in Old Bridge and had lived in East Brunswick and The Villages in Howell before moving to Peoria in 2008. She was predeceased by a son, James Hess; and a brother, Bud Moneypenny. Mrs. Romeo is survived by her husband, Dominick Romeo; three daughters, Susan Romeo of Phoenix, Ariz., Ellen Kjeka and her husband, Tor, of Glendale, Ariz., and Barbara Katko and her husband, Edward, of New Brunswick; and seven grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.
