Mr. Stegiel, 75, of Toms River, formerly of Sayreville, died Oct. 14, 2010, in Community Medical Center Hospice, Toms River. Prior to his retirement in 2000, he was the owner of East End Auto Body, Sayreville. Surviving are three children and their spouses, Gregory and Janet Stegiel of Jackson, Wayne and Lori Stegiel of Helmetta and Allison and Gary Hampson of Neptune; two grandsons; his companion, Zofia Lazarska of Toms River; and his former wife, Carol Nudge Stegiel of Sayreville. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, also Parlin.
