Mr. Ricca, 65, of Howell, died unexpectedly Oct. 15, 2010, due to complications of colon cancer. He was born and raised in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, N.Y. Mr. Ricca was employed for nearly 40 years with Abraham & Straus/Federated Department Stores in Brooklyn, Woodbridge Center, Eatontown and Bridgewater Commons. His last position was as operations manager of the Menlo Park Mall, working for Simon Properties through Control Building Services. He was one of the first residents of The Windmill Club. Surviving are his wife of nearly 44 years, Judy; a sister, Karen Oliva of Smithtown, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Linda Giuliano of Hillsboro; two brothers-in-law, Chris Oliva and Joe Giuliano; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services were handled by O’Brien Funeral Home, Brick. Interment was private.
